I’ve been asked to join Limnus as the live keyboardist! We’ve been rehearsing for a show at the DNA Loung in San Francisco on August 2nd, opening for Dismantled and Everything Goes Cold. Come see us!
Limnus are some great friends of mine who I’ve collaborated with on many occasions in the past; it’s an honor to join their canon. The new Abrasions album and live plans are still in the works; my time is just divided between the two projects now. Limnus’s new single, Bloodchains, came out a month or so ago. Check it out here: http://limnus.bandcamp.com
Hope to see you at the DNA!
There was set before me a mighty hill,
And long days I climbed
Through regions of snow.
When I had before me the summit-view,
It seemed that my labor
Had been to see gardens
Lying at impossible distances.
- Stephen Crane
I’m hitting the road in an hour, accompanying my friends Limnus on a short tour in the southwest. They’re heading to Phoenix, Arizona and El Paso, Texas to open for Dismantled; very exciting! We’ll also be dropping by the Bar Sinister in Los Angeles tonight, so come hang out if you’re in town!
My guitarist Chris’s shoegaze band, Airs, is also doing a minitour this month. They’ll be playing at a few places in the bay. See the flyer here.
